LONG BEACH HAS A HEART ON

For decades queer artists, nightlife, sexuality, activism, and underground creative spaces have existed at the heart of Long Beach pride culture.

What was once built through resistance, community, artistic expression, and visibility has increasingly become commercialized, corporatized, and disconnected from the people who helped create it in the first place.

HEART ON was created in Long Beach, for Long Beach, as an alternative space centered around art, sexuality, mental health, nightlife, and community care.

Built by queer artists and independent creators, HEART ON exists to reconnect Pride with the culture and people that gave it meaning long before corporate sponsorship and rainbow marketing campaigns.

This is a space for queer expression without sanitization. A space for vulnerability, conversation, and visibility. A space where artists are not treated as background decoration to corporate branding, but as the culture itself.
